Bored with your XP interface? Change it!

If you are bored with your Windows XP interface and envy the glass-look of Vista and Mac interface, you can change the interface with only by installing one software. Below is some softwares recommended.

Vista Transformation Pack Final 6.0

With this pack, your Windows XP will be transformed into Windows Vista look. This transformation pack is well designed, but I have problem with the circle start button. The added image to make the button round seems not to be at the right place. Maybe I am using a widescreen monitor. Besides, in explorer window, you will never see “up one level” button in the toolbar. This is what Vista looks like. But in Windows Vista, you can click on the address bar to go back to the level before the folder you are viewing. As I always use this button, this transformation pack is not for me.

Vista Inspirat (BricoPack)

This is another free transformation pack for Windows XP, which will not require other additional program to skin the Windows such as WindowsBlind or StyleXP. But, sorry to say that the installation is irreversible. I did try System restore but it did not help much. I just need to format my computer. sigh. By the way, the look is not a copy of Vista.

FlyakiteOSX

If you like Mac OS, but you are using Windows XP, you can change the interface to MacOSX using this transformation pack. The publisher gives you a guarantee that this installation is completely reversible without hassle. I am using this in my computer and I like it. If you want to aquafy your Windows XP look, I recommend this instead of Vista Transformation pack.
